For adult entertainment, Hanover features year round OLG Slots and harness racing at the Hanover Raceway with live summer action.

Hanover is a family community and offers 11 kilometers of picturesque trails alongside the Saugeen River, many community parks with play areas, picnic facilities, canoe launching, Skate Board Park, Bike Park and Heritage Square. Hanover also has one of Ontario's few remaining fully functioning Drive-In Theatres in addition to a large screen movie theatre. If you or the kids are into sports, Hanover also has several baseball diamonds and soccer fields which are in use most summer nights.
